Atheists, your conception of God is that there is no God and it was made by evolution.....but how you define God? God can be defined as a cosmic force, in that case, you do beleive in God (aka, evolution)...

God can be defined in many ways....

but Atheists, beleived in the one God of the christians, as the target not to beleive....

but logically, an atheist still needs faith to beleive in evolution and the big bang and how it c ame to us (because it doesn't explain creation---where did the big bang coem from, etc)...

so atheists are just as faithful to their religion, as christians...

agnostics are just as faithful because they are thinking about beleiving but not sure, about a God, but only the one that is referred to in the bible...T

This is my position: I beleive in something, because I don't think that we just all came from nowhere without an explanation. So I am a spiritual person.

But I am not religious because it takes only one definition of God, and because of its

man made interpretations and rules of conduct.

The rules of living written in the bible are the same rules that nature has in built in us in order to preserve the specie...Yes, there are people that do selfish things, this is natural. But there is also always the feeling of a mother toward their baby, etc. Meant to preserve the specie.

These are UNIVERSAL things of conduct.

So I just think religion is a needless exageration---philosphers and wise people could have told us what and how not to behave...we don't need to follow and go to church and just abide by all these weird rules from the catholic church.

I am very sure I can't know whether god/gods/goddess/higher power/etc exists or not - at least not in this lifetime. What most people don't understand about agnostics in my experience is that "I don't(can't) know" is the ANSWER and not a question.

when i say i am an atheist, it is not because i dont believe in God, as you said that God can have many different meanings, it means that i do not follow a religion, If you break down the word atheism, A means without, and theism means religion, therefore, without religion. So, if you say evolution is God, i am not saying i dont belive in God, just the religious points of view of God.

And i do not think that the big bang came from nowhere, i think that there was a focussed point that held incredible amounts of energy, then it, for lack of a better term, exploded and its mass spread throughout time, no as to where that point came from, i have no idea, i think that it is all incredibly complex and it may take hundreds or even thousands of years before we figure out how it all happened

If you want to define god as the sum total of all physical laws, I really wouldn't take issue with that. I don't need faith to figure out how we got here, because I go with the best evidence and don't care if that evidence changes directions. If we don't know, I don't have a problem with that. But that doesn't indicate an invisible buddy did it.

I don't believe in god as it is traditionally defined. There is no evidence to support a god, so it isn't reasonable to believe there is one.

*sigh*
Nobody believes our earth, and our universe, were "made" by evolution.
Biological evolution is merely a process that is taking place in our world. It may not be a cosmological "force" as you put it. We have no evidence of that, as yet.

in basic terms guy can study such philosophical rubbish into beautifuly elementary structures. guy created god in his image, through fact he replaced right into a splash lonley and insecure, then he makes a decision to place in writing the tale that it replaced into god who made us in his image, so he's modeled on a god, that makes him sense lots greater suitable....
