Given, at the time, that the Denver Airport and the automation of the early nineties was well publicized as one of the first boondoggles of many of the Clinton Administration, and we could now see the efficiency of the same airport with the recent snowstorm...do you think your tax dollars generated by the Clinton largest tax increase in Us history and the Al Gore tie breaking vote to tax Social Security were well spent here?
Please remember to factor in the many cost overrruns and refits as well as the questionable contracting of the airport from Henry Cisneros, then Transportation Secretary. I would readily compare this with the immediate effects of the two Bush tax cuts and the return of capital to private and business concerns....I spent mine, but im sure most of the liberals..."sent theirs back" so perhaps thats an unfair comparison to use.

Dude, I'm with you...I'd much rather have my tax dollars spent on fighting terrorism and funding the military than going into the pockets of defunct social programs and welfare louts. This America, not Canada.

thats not counting state taxes! most people will have to add anywhere from 6-15% ontop of that. my state tax is 7% so i fall into the 28% tax bracket and thusly pay 35% currently add 15% ontop of that and i pay 50% FIFTY ******* PERCENT PEOPLE!!!!!! im not rich i make just under 90k a year thats not rich thats upper middle class at best! take with this new tax system i will only make 45k a year (very dumbed down because thats not exactly how taxes work exactly so maybe i make like 50-55k a year) this system will piss off a lot of people! to top that off they are taxing small businesses more! small business is the back bone of this economy and by taxing them we can expect to see higher and higher unemployment rates. we love you Obummer thanks for taking all my money! when im unemployed how long can Obummer sustain this with 0 workers? even Russia had to have workers. slave labor. but hey since big government is so good and holy i guess all the libs will love to work for bit gov. for free!

I seem to remember that, even though you seem to feel the Clinton administration wasted our money- he took our system from deficit spending to a surplus- I think for 3 or 4 years in a row. Now, we're looking at the hugest deficit ever seen by our country, and there are still scandals, waste, fraud and abuse. The scale of the abuse, especially that lost on the 'rebuilding of Iraq' appears to be in the many 10's of billions of dollars.

You're blaming the Denver Airport cost overruns on Clinton? you're whacked. Also Whitewater was just trumped up charges over nothing. They never found anything but a lot of negative media play.

First I would like to tell you, you are full of sh*t to your eyeballs!
The Bush (no new taxes) tax increase was much larder, yet still not the largest! And as far as boondoggles, nothing beats the bridge to no where- and as far as tax cuts. I got what amounts to 19 cents a week (about average for 85% of the people) But state sales taxes and property taxes went up from 1 to10% across the nation to make up for this 19 cents!
and we don't even want to talk about scandals!
Every administration has them, but this administration has really pushed the limit! There are sop many it is hard to remember one for more than a few weeks before a bigger one hits!

BTW just for reference,The Denver airport was appropriated under Bush Sr

There are more American tax $ being spent in Iraq, than all of the 50 U.S. states combined. American schools and libraries are closing, while we buy more weapons and continue to fund Halliburton into record profits. Americans will pay for the Bush administration's spending for at least the next 60-80 years.
