well, i always found asking other people to ask them out for gay and kind of useless, so i would go up to him in person and either ask him in front of people or go talk to him alone. tell him you have feelings for him. tell him you want to love him and would hope if he would love you to.. wait and see what'd he say.. if he says yes, then lucky you and if no, then i guess his sister's thought wrong, but i mean, i know it's hard, because i cant seem to do it either, but move on if he says no

this is a sure shot way to get him to ask you, when you next see him get him in a little conversation as he is talking interupt and say you are quite handsome and I would really consider going out with you if you were to asked me, hand him your phone # and say give me a call.
