Hello all. I had the chicken pox when i was 4 but i only had 3 spots. the doctor said that I would probably get it again. Well I am an adult now and I havent ever had it again. Yesterday I got a rash on my legs(thighs) and today it is all down my legs. The only way to get the bumps to stop itching is to take a warm bath. They look like tiny little red bumps. Theyre about the size of an eraser on a pencil. Is this what chicken pox look like? Does anyone know any websited that show pictures? thanks for any advice!

I have not started using any new products on my skin though. I have been using the same fabric softener and washing detergent since I was really young. I dont think it is an allergy.

Could be! My brother had them twice because his first time there was only 2 bumps. Do the bumps look like they have liquid in them?
The sites below have more info and pics.
You might want to quarantine yourself just in case! Younger kids can get the chickenpox, and older people can get the shingles, which is real painful.

If you had chicken pox as a kid, then you have the antibodies in your bloodstream, and are unlikely to get another case, even if the first was mild, or even "sub-clinical." In most cases, chicken pox rash begins on the torso rather than the legs, so I would think that you're dealing with something else. Also, a *warm* bath would usually make chicken pox itchier, rather than relieving the itch. I'd suggest checking with a dermatologist if the rash persists; consider also whether or not you've started using a new product (including laundry detergent, paper products, cleaning products, pet products, foods, or just about anything else you might come in contact with).

Usualy the chicken pox starts on the belly, but it sounds like the chicken pox, have you had a slight fever at all? If you have, then it I am about 75% sure you have them.

some symptoms are fevers, itching, and small red spots all over your body. the bumps should not stick out it starts in a rash and also it go away in 7 to 20 days. my advice to you is to not scratch it and also use somt type of natural cream.

you usally get a water boil on your kin first....hmm you should go check that out....my guess is you're allergic to something...I remember I used this scented lotion on my arm..and it turned red and was extremely itchy I had to wash it off immediately
and don't listen to the person above...you CAN get it twice...but only if the first time wasn't bad...in your case...there is a good chance you'll get it again...and chicken pox look like pimples all over your body...
