My friend got food poisoning and is now sick... taking meds. Can she die from this??

It depends upon age, how strong her system is and if she can withstand the bacteria in her system and fight off the poison. If she is in good health, does not have any medical problems, such as diabetes, cancer, any related genetic disorder, she should fully recover.

Yes ,you can, but only from the very serious ones.Here are some examples
1. Botulism-Nerv Toxic- Bacterium-found i.e.home canned Foods
2.E-Coli
and the E-Coli strain H157 - this strain can lead to bloody Diarrhea and in some individuals to Kidney Failure
3. :Listeria - a Bacteria found in the soil and water and i.e. in unpasteurized Dairy Products
3. Shigella Bacteria i.e. can lead to dysentery - Bloody Diarrhea
4. Camplobacter i.e. undercooked Food
5. Salmonella- Chicken and other Birds, like Turkey
If your Friend is in Treatment she should be ok.
Here are some Tips to prevent Food Poisoning
Never under cook Food
Do not eat raw Meat or Fish i.e. Sushi
Always buy pasteurized Dairy Products.
During Food Production keep Counters and your Utensils clean.
Put every unused Leftovers in the Refrigerator or in the Freezer.
When Buying ,check the Expiration Date, in doubt ,do not buy it.
Wash your Hands after using the Bathroom, smoking, Food handling .

Well!!! you certainly can die from food poisoning?However let me
tell you.It all depends on the severity.I am pushin 60 yrs. and I have
personally suffered it many times,and so have you!!As have just
about everyone.People suffer food poisoning all the time and dont
realize it.The processed foods we eat everyday,literally poision us.
As you yourself know.How many of us have gotten a stomach
ache after eating?Its the most common thing their is.Its all a form
of food poisioning.Just try to make sure that you cook your food
well enough.As for the foods we eat (out)......Good luck!!!
