I've noticed especially when it rains or is very damp outside that small brown slugs crawl all over my dogs food and water bowl ( which are on the front deck which has a roof ). I always try to get them off when I can but they keep coming back even through the night. My concern is are they harmful if he accidently or on purposely eats them?

What kind of IDIOT leaves dog food out in the elements????? Stop being LAZY and feed the dogs twice daily. Pick up the bowl when they are done. It is JUST COMMON SENSE!!!

you need to bring your dog inside and buy him a cage to sleep in and to put his food in there.(i know there are no slugs or snails in your house.)

Maybe just feed him in the house. Do you make your kids eat out on the back porch too?
