The earth: Matter clumped together and formed the earth. Simple as that!
The universe: The Big Bang caused the universe. There are several hypotheses on what caused the Big Bang. However, just because there isn't a definitive answer doesn't mean we should invoke the supernatural.
Life: Amino acids formed in the primordial sea, and evolved into one-celled organisms, and all the way up to what you and I see today.

There are several ways. I've seen some do it like Christians explain God's creation, [it just is]. Scientifically, an explosion on a less than atomic level [I think that's right, I'll admit to never really brushing up on my Big Bang theory]. Earth is a ball of stuff that collected in the logical result of this explosion, and compacted. Living things are interplay of elements, especially carbon, as life is based off of carbon. Good ole carbon!

That's a hard question because the universe is so complex and science have yet found all the answers. But at least us 'atheist people' don't go for the easiest route and say 'it must be God, praise the lord!' We try and find the truth, you settle for the easy option.

This question is pathetic.
Answers are widely available. We don't need God because there are MUCH better theories about where the universe, the earth, and life came from.
Read a book you moron.

We don't make it up with ridiculous mythology and story telling which defies common sense.
Is it better to be safe and believe a bunch of non-sense? OK, I believe in God. Happy? But surely not the Childish, ridiculous, jealous, cruel master of the religions...because that's just plain rubbish and foolish.
IF he exists, it's not in the realms of any religion or human mind to explain......

There's this nifty thing called science, whereby we come up for natural explanations for things based off evidence and testing. You might want to look it up. Here are some places to start: Big Bang, Cosmochemical Evolution, Proto-Planetary Nebula, Accretion Disk, Abiogensis, Biological Evolution.
