Honesty is the best policy, No one can tell you what to do use everyones reply's and figure out what works best even if you don't agree with them. What happened to all your other answers ? .... Unless you express your feeling the other person will never know that friends is the limit.

Ok.. It's possible if you aren't attracted to the other person. I have a lot of friends of the opposite sex, because I don't find them attractive at all.. That's the only way.

One of my very closest friends is male. He in the past did want "more" but I did not. I told him simply I wouldnt want an attempt at a relationship to ruin our friendship and he agreed we are still great friends and tell eachother everything.

It's a tricky situation, but the key here is HONESTY. Let each other know what your expectations are, and you shouldn't have any problems. If one starts feeling more than the other person, then you need to re-evaluate, but generally, you should still be able to be friends.

It has in no way got here approximately to me, and that i've got for the main area had lady "suitable pals" by way of my existence (i'm sixty six). It became complicated quite a few circumstances and that i lost one whom i for my area enjoyed, and whilst i eventually instructed her, she tremendously lots sounded stunned - and then she laughed, which wasn't tremendously the two and that replaced into it. somewhat unhappy, through fact i presumed we could have been quite good at the same time - oh nicely. i did no longer lose out in any respect, as i'm married to my suitable buddy ever, occurring 28+ years. in spite of the shown fact that it did no longer initiate as a friendship - I observed her and in the past we even talked, I knew that replaced into it - and it replaced into, vast time. in case you haven't any longer considered "whilst Harry met Sally" you ought to. it quite is dealing which incorporate your question in a very exciting way - super action picture. additionally, study my blog-positioned up approximately RELATIONSHIPS (link under). To negate related to romantic (intercourse) thoughts and "urges" is close to impossible. And the fantastic line is that despite in case you think of she has the comparable thoughts, you ought to be extraordinarily incorrect. yet another element is that the "area" thoughts that must be occurring, can relatively spruce up the relationship without appearing on it bodily. So be careful in case you do no longer opt to rock the boat out of the water, ok? Cheers, Peter

Accept that the way it is is the way that it is. Don't try to push water uphill. It'll make you crazy trying to change what isn't changeable. Just make an iron promise to yourself to be a good friend and that's all.

don't be so paranoid if you've been friends for a while and nothing's come up then she thinks it's just a freindship too. don't bring it up though. and if she does end up having feelings for you tell her that you just wanna be friends it'll be a little akward at first but then you guys'll blow past it.
