I am 32 & have been seeing this man he is 46 we broke up and we cant stay away from eachother .We talk ,email,tex about every day.He told me 2 months ago he loved me then we broke up and we are still seeing eachother and he told me he dose not think he can have a realtionship because of his life .He is in the army full time and has 2 children .we do see eachother alot and i told him i love him alot ! He calls me to just be with him not for sex .I asked him if he would be hurt if i had sex with some one else he told me yes ! I told him i feel so close to him and he told me he dose worry about being close to me .I dont understand why he has changed his mind about saying he loves me he told me he just cant say that to me again .I love him so much i am scared of losing him i some times feel sick.
I told him last night some timesi want to walk away but i cant i love him to much and i asked him if i did how would he feel he told me it would be hard .how can i get him to comit.

this is a toughie! stay with him a little longer if he keeps switching back and forth you might have to say good bye. that or spend time with his kids i am sure they would love that! i am sure they would want to meet the woman he has been seeing.oh yeah and dont have sex with any one else. to tell you the truth i dont think people should have sex if they aren't married but thats just my opinon!

You all are emotionally dependent on each other. You were not meant to be together, but you tried it anyway and you even knew that it would not work. You have to know that relationships should not take that much emotional stress from you. You need to put him in a special friend place and try to meet someone that will love you the way you need to be loved and stop screwing your head up with this guy. You love him because he fills you emotionally but he can not give you what you need outside of that. Move on and if it was meant to be he will be there for you, if not, grow and learn from the whole experience.

You can't MAKE him commit to a relationship. Is he divorced?? For how long?? Let's see....He tells you he loves you....and then you break up. Ooops.... he must have said something he didn't intend on saying.....now he misses his squeeze and you guys continue to see each other, but he doesn't think he can have a relationship with you?? He's quite comfortable with the "relationship" the way it is now, and he's not going to step up until he wants to. If you need commitment, you should look somewhere else, because it's not gonna happen anytime soon.

You can't GET someone to have a relationship. You should back off and give him some space. He just may not be in the same place as you . People arrive at things at different times. Perhaps you should not take it personally.
