depends on how much orange you are already using. Are all of your colors solid? You might try a patterned curtain with mostly orange in it. Or a cream or brown.

Probably anything but orange. You might try a rich brown with an orange lining, then you'd just get a bit of it when the drapes are open. Or even something that has a weave to it that has the brown, black and orange in it. You could add a thin orange strip to your brown drapes at the edges maybe 2-3 inches from the edge and only 1/2 to 1 inch wide if that type of look blends into your room. Good Luck!

I think the curtains should be neutral with a burnt orange band at the bottom or a horizontal stripe or two of orange. I think a hint of orange would be better than big orange curtains.

Depending what kind of theme that u love to achieve. Try not to use more than colour for a spacewithin a room area. (Flooring colour and sofa colour play a part too!) Except black and white colour. Yes. Orange colour will brighten the black n brown colour. May consider orange with lighter colour combination for curtain.

Sounds like you are using autum colors so I personally would consider another color like a burnt red color, or even a deep green. I think orange would look tacky...too bright for the window. Use orange as accent pieces and deep yellows even. Sounds very soothing.

if you are not careful, you will box yourself in.dark colors bring the room in and lighter opens room.what you have going is earth tones.i love the color selection at Lowe's and they have holes in the color chips to compare colors.what goes well is anything shinny.make sure you have mirror in room, maybe one big framed in gold.

I would go with a lighter color because you don't want your room to look like a dungeon.
