I'm presuming you mean mouth ulcers considering it is in the dental section. it is a very good question as I get them all the time.
I have been told different things by different people.
I went to the doctor about them once and all he told me to do was try an anti bacterial mouth wash...considering I use mouthwash anyway I thought that was a silly answer and never went back to that doctor again.
I used to usually get them around exam time at uni so I figured stress was one factor that caused them.
But then I also ate a lot of junk food around exam time too so I reckon that also contributed to them.
but then someone told me it was due to overeating things like vinegar and salad cream and ketchup....and when I cut back on those things, sure enough, the ulcers reduced in quantity.
To confuse matters however I was also told that eating vinegar was the best way to get rid of ulcers?? not sure how that works if it actually causes them in the first place and i have never been brave enough to try it whilst I have an ulcer in my mouth... sounds rather painful.
I think I get them more than usual when I am a bit run down... so poor diet and lack of sleep and stress could all contribute.
All in all i am not sure if I have actually been of any help at all.
Good luck.

Ulcer is a hole in the lining of your stomach,or colon or esophagus.
It happens when the lining corroded by acidic digestive juices or through infection with the Bacteria" Helicobacter Pyloridus".
Another major cause is the chronic use of anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin.
Cigarette smoking ,Alcohol also contributes to Ulcers.
Diagnostic is made through barium x-ray and endoscopy.
Symptoms are variable or some do not experience them at all.
Goal of Treatment is to relief pain and discomfort, neutralized acid and prevent further complications, like perforation of the ulcer
Medication can be i.e. Tagamet, Zantac or newer ones like Proton-pump inhibitors like Prilosec.
Change in Diet, reduce of Coffee,Soft Drinks ,Greasy and Spicy Food might help also.
I hope the information where help full to you
greetings
