If the problem is only on your elbows, then it is highly likely that you are leaning on your elbows while on the computer or reading, etc.. I had the same thing but never thought about it until someone asked.

Elbows can try out because of the excess skin there. Try some vaseline on it a couple of times, and give it a day or two for the redness to go away.

sounds like dry skin. try eurcrine, i dont know how to spell it, but it does start with a e. its at walmart for $13, but their 'walmart brand' is $4 and works exactly. its more of a thick butter type lotion, so you really have to rub it in, but it has no dyes or chemicals , hypoalergenic stuff.
my son has excema, so if it works on that, it wil work on your arms!

its a kind of eczema. try celestoderm from a drug store. it does wonders. its for dermatological problems. trust me.
