Usually code red or code blue means a crisis on a hospital ward, the ER or in the ICU.

At the hospital nearest me, "Code Blue" refers to cardiopulmonary arrest and "Code Red" refers to fire.

Other "Codes" for schools or stores or hospitals might be for a bomb threat or a child abduction. A lot of stores use "Code Adam" for a child abduction.

Code Black is used differently in different hospitals. It may refer to a bomb threat or a bomb being discovered in a workplace.

Well code green means the doctors are sharing green m&ms with the pretty nurses Code red means the nurses are not providing services, code blue means means to chill. I think you know what code white means.

Code red means fire. Code blue means cardiac or respiratory arrest. Code pink is infant abduction. Code brown means sewage or hazardous materials spills.

Funny story. They remove patients LIVESTRONG bands now. In many hospitals a yellow wristband means "Do Not Resuscitate."

I used to work at a zoo. What an animal escaped it was called a Code Brown. Because your first words are "Oh Sh--"

Code pink = baby missing, code blue = flatlining person (no heartbeat), code grey = bomb threat, code black = evacuate , code yellow = prepare for mass accident victims, code red = first victim arriving
