Iran is sitting on the biggest supply of unrefined petroleum on the planet. The reason the leaders of America have gone through such great effort to seize control of it. So to answer your question no it would not be in the best interest of the world right now to "nuke" it and lose that tremendous amount of our planets main fuel source.

I see no other choice. Why? Unlike the other countries that have nuclear bombs, Iran has no checks and balances against simpy committing suicide in the name of their religion. Tune in on Glen Beck TV Program each night.

This is a very delicate question. I would give my honest opinion without taking sides with anyone. Iran want to have nuclear weapons because of perceived threat from the U.S. and Israel. Israel keep nuclear weapons because of fear that any hostile Arab country might one day have them and use them against Israel. North Korea want to have nuclear weapons because of perceived threat from the U.S.. The U.S. keep its nuclear weapons as deterrent to Russia and China who still keep their own nuclear weapons, and against countries like Iran and North Korea which it considers as threat to the U.S.. Russia keep its nuclear weapons as deterrent to U.S., China, and West European countries like England and France. China keep its nuclear weapons as deterrent to both U.S. and Russia. France and England keep nuclear weapons as deterrent to Russia. India and Pakistan keep nuclear weapons as a deterrent against each other. Libya, Egypt and some African countries also wanted nuclear capabilities for their own deterrents. You see, it goes on and on. While the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty banned most nations from possessing nuclear weapons, it was biased because the same treaty allowed U.S., Russia, China, England, France to keep their existing nuclear weapons. This fact had become a dillema for the United Nations in enforcing the treaty's provisions, because other nations with nuclear aspirations view the treaty as unfair. As somberly stated by the new Japanese Prime Minister Shinto Abe, "Japan was the first and by far the only nation who suffered from nuclear destruction. The only way that any nation can avoid such fate is to eliminate every nuclear weapon from the phase of the earth. No nation should possess even a single nuclear weapon, and nobody should be exempted." Very well said by a head of state.

I think we should let them make the first move, when they fire a nuke, we shoot it down and bomb them to death.
