No, not unless the parents have personally guaranteed to be responsible for the debt... in writing! Otherwise, wouldn't that be unfair? Think about it... why would the parents be responsible!

if there is anyone co-signing on the accounts then THEY will be responsible. they might take it out of the deceased estates. so whoever is taking care of them may want to look into what sort of debt might be collected on. but if no one else is on the account, then you're good to go
