I'm 20 and have known this guy since I was 4 years old.
In the past we knew of each other and hung out because of mutual friends and family, but never really talked to each other. We lost contact for about 7 years and I recently met him again at a friends party and we had one of those really good conversations. Like you really feel a connection, a closeness. He's a musician and he asked for my number so that he could txt me about his gigs. The next day he txts me to tell me it was good to see me and asks for my email as well.
So he mass-txts and mass-emails me about his gigs for a while and I go to a few of them at the beginning. Gigs are impersonal and after a while i felt frustrated that things were so impersonal, so I stopped going.
So whats going on? If you like a girl, you don't leave them hanging there right? Does he see me as a long lost childhood friend?
Worth going to anymore gigs??

That 'bring another guy' jealousy thing doesn't work past a certain age. I did bring a guy friend once, but not to make him feel threatened though. I've seen him with other friends (girls), doesn't make me feel threatened or jealous either.
I know for a fact that he's single.
