They are about the same. Although Gatorade contains twice as much sodium., it is overkill since no one needs that much.

Water is best, but outta gatorade and powerade i'd choose gatorade, it justs tastes better especially ice orange yumm.

For me, Gatorade because Powerade is too sweet and rich tasting. It is darker and also gives me diarehha. I thought i was the only one!

Generally there is too much sugar in these which can slow down water absorption. Try diluting them to about half strength unless you have been losing a lot of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate).
