Im careful about that. Usually the girls make the first move on me. I'm careful cause i don't want to be in a relationship just for looks or some shallow reason. Also many girls that make the first move try to controlling and manipulative. Guys should always make the 1st move unless they are clueless. Hope this helps.

according to the kama sutra of vatsyayana, "the lover's bible" "men despise women who are easily get"......but i think this rule applies when the man who is above the woman in some aspects of life such as social and financial status. Bc one can never tell if that woman is only after that status. However, this rule may be reversed if the woman is above the man in such status unless that woman is of above average beauty as man by nature are attracted to the beauties, whether she is wealthy or not. For a woman proposing for a marriage, i may not be shocked culturally as this is what occurred in the life of our beloved prophet (saw). Khadijah being financially above, she had an in-between for this proposal. But if that proposal is for a one night stand, i really feel uncomfortable even when i had encountered this situation several times. Maybe bc I am a devout muslim (i hope).Had to make up stories or diplomatic reasons just to deny a woman's initiative esp if she got the looks. I don't know what other guys or girls think about me, as most non muslim guys i met would be happy to jump in. Finally, i see or heard that those people who jumped in quickly jumped out as easy as a bouncing ball, and regret how much a fool they go for such impulses and girls who take a guy so easily have little respect for them and would like to get rid of him as soon as possible.

Women that do make the first move are awesome and more in step with the times then just waiting for a guy to notice them. That doesn't mean to run over and drop trou to get his attention but by all means feel free to do it it's a great idea.

Some men prefer it, cuts down on chances of rejection.
My hubby says he always waited for the woman to make the first move. He would make eye contact, smile, etc, be friendly, but as far as coming on, he waited for them, and says he knows many other men who do that as well.

do it, because usually only the crappiest level of men, the pretty boys, (if you can call them men) will actually approach a girl and hit on them. women need to take the inititive because guys could really care less about whether he talks to that girl or that girl or that girl. so if you make the contact, then you have already done all the hard work for him and he doesnt need to weed out any of the ladies. its simple
YES

I admire a woman that can make the first move. It shows she is confident, and that she knows what she wants and goes after it.

I think subtle hints are fine, flat out come ons are far too intimidating and makes me wonder if you are a ho. But showing interest releaves the pressure and uncertainty of not knowing whether you find me attractive or not.
