It must state the word "only" to have any validity to it.

you have to remember that at the time the bible was written
the need to populate the earth was more important than it is now ...
so male female relationships were very much encouraged
the earth is over populated now and i dont believe the same rules are needed any more
but no there is nothing to say that same sex marriages cant happen
it does not agree with same sex relationships though , probably due to the above reasons

That's ridiculous to insist that it have "only" in it. There is nowhere is Scripture that even suggests anything other than marriage being between a man and a woman. Scripture only speaks of marriage in the context of being between a man and a woman.
Gen 2:18-25
ph 5:2, 21-33
Gen 24:48-51, 58-67
Tob 7:9-14
Tob 8:4-9
Song 2:8-10, 14, 16; 8:6-7
Sir 26:1-4, 13-18
Jer 31:31-34
Rom 8:31-35, 37-39
Rom 12:1-2, 9-13
1 Cor 6:13-20
1 Cor 12:31-13:8
1 Pet 3:1-9
1 Jn 3:18-24
1 Jn 4:7-12

1 Tess 4:4
Mt 19:1-9
Is 50:1-2
Jer 3:8
Mt 19:4-5

I'll stop there. Accept it or not, reject Christ or not, the choice is yours.

Leviticus 20:13- “‘And when a man lies down with a male the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing. They should be put to death without fail. Their own blood is upon them.
Leviticus 18:22 - “‘And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing
Jude 7 - So too Sod′om and Go‧mor′rah and the cities about them, after they in the same manner as the foregoing ones had committed fornication excessively and gone out after flesh for unnatural use, are placed before [us] as a [warning] example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.
(Romans 1:27) and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.
(Genesis 2:24) “A man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh.”
The Hebrew word “wife,” according to Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words, “connotes one who is a female human being.”
Jesus confirmed that those yoked together in marriage should be “male and female.”—Matthew 19:4.

There is no such biblical scripture; however, marriage in the bible is always described as being between a man and a woman.
I'm not sure what you're getting at here. I have no problem whatsoever with gay marriage, but it's impossible to reconcile such a concept with an honest interpretation of biblical teachings. The bible is very clear in condemning homosexual relationships.

God's original purpose was: Man and women. To have children and fill the earth with humans. Homosexuals cannot have children between themselves. So same sex marriage its against God purpose. The ORIGINAL definition of marriage was "The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife." Homosexuality is just a "sexual preference."

And he answered and said, "Have you not read ,that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said 'For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh'? Consequently they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:4-6) It does not state the word "only" because it is so clear that it is unnecessary. If you want to suggest that this condones same sex marriages or bestiality, you do so at the risk of your own soul

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
No it doesnt say "only" but it goes over homosexuality quite a bit in the bible and God even rained fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gammorah, 2 cities dominated by homosexuality.

People are always saying that Christians are harping on homosexuality, I beg to differ; it's the other way around. All we do is merely answer question after question about it and get labeled as bigots. I'm sick of these questions! They've been done to DEATH!
