I'm an 18 year old guy and I find that my stomach feels and looks bloated after I eat meals. I wake up in the morning with a flat tummy but by the end of the day it is bulging! I do light exercise throughout the week and I'm usually quite thin, so I'm not used to looking so big! Is there any over-the-counter drugs or diet changes you could recommend to help me? Thanks

To reply to some people's suggestions, I don't thin I overeat or have too large portions so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks for the other replies though, I appreciate it!

As a guy, I had the same problem. I'm not overweight, not on medication, and don't eat a lot. Doctor checked me and said it's IBS. It's not fun. And he said it won't go away and will probably get worse. A few years later the cramps set in. You don't know pain -- makes you want to pass out. There is no cure to it but research is going on. In fact, IBS used to be considered a phantom illness and some doctors still say it isn't real and all in the head.

You may not have that and all IBS symptoms are widely varied among the victims.

watch the kind of foods you're eating. often, veggies cause gas and bloating (you still need to eat them) but it sounds like you might be overeating? cut back on the portions and the beans.

Try taking Gas-X after you eat. There must be certain foods that are causing this gas build up.
