I mix and match different beliefs, even including some of my own ideas that I have determined quite possible, all the while holding an open stance on everything. I do not dismiss the possibility of anything, merely choose not to accept it as the only choice. From here, I generally hear that I'm going to burn in hell for not having faith. If burning in hell is the consequence for accepting others as they are with what they believe, I will accept my fate with pride. I may be the only one there for compassion and understanding, but if there truly is a God, He should understand my stance and not punish me for a lack of blind faith. If He can't do that, He is not God in my mind. The alternative, of course, is that science is the "only truth" which is as much a religion as Catholocism. Science is a collection of theories which, based on the knowledge of the time, are claimed as laws. So, tell me, why is it so bad for me to be an individual? I'm not raping or killing people.

Nope. Go for it. Just don't bother me about it or try to pass laws based on your beliefs, and we'll all get along fine.

Let's first establish that Science was created by God in the beginning which we humans have discovered and have claimed as laws. Theories are ok, but we can't study them as we can the truths of God.
2.The Bible doesn't say He will send us to hell if we accept others. Maybe we can try not to blame God by saying He wants to send us to hell, and instead realize that we have made an independent choice to go.

First, you are person who can think on your own. You do not need a church to tell you what to do.
Second, hell does not exist. It was created by a man who wrote a book in the 1800's describing, in his opinion, where bad people go when they die.
Third, what about all the other religions that do NOT believe in Jesus and/or God? Because they have their own beliefs, of which Christians said is a SIN, they are told they will be punished. Really smart way to get people to listen to YOUR beliefs, use fear and anger.
Fourth, science is NOT theories. Science is facts. It is facts when you discover somethng, and many, many other people can also make the same discovery. That means it is REAL, and is fact.
Sorry, but religion is based ENTIRELY upon beliefs. There is NO WAY to prove anything the bible said happen a long time ago. Either you believe it happened, or you do not.
IGNORE the fears caused by religion, believe what YOU want to believe in. NEVER try to convert others to what you believe in. Tell OTHERS who try to change your beliefs, into theirs; that they need to mind their own business. Hear that? Jehova's Witnesses?
It is like UFO's and ghosts. There is no proof they exist, and no proof that they do NOT. You either believe, or you do not.

well.....you mst have grown up in a hame that didn't put CHRIST first and now you have no idea what to believe. Well let me tell you that there is a God and He sent His only begotten Son to this earth, and He lved you and that was His reason for sending Him(Jesus) to be born a babe and die on the cross some 33 1/2 yrs later to save your soul from burning in hell. if you don't believe it now, you WILL like 1 sec. after you die... so what i am trying to say is that there is hope and if you have faith (faith is simply believing that God is gonna do what He said He's gonna do) then try Him and ask Him to show you that He is real...I never regret the day that I gave my life to Him. and you can have a reasurance like never before and know with out a shadow of a doubt that you are going to go to heaven by just simply believing in the death burial and ressurection of Jesus...He paid the price for your sin, why would you want to go pay it yourself (in hell that is). I will pray for God to open your eyes to His Truth.:)...and by the way someone who claims that they are atheist are not truly atheist because an atheist doesn't believe in a god, but then in all acuality they are lying cuz they worship themselves as a god because they are saying that they only are gonna do what they want to do ...that was free.LOL

With God there is no mixing and matching.
If you are truly interested in God at all I would suggest reading and studying the bible. All you need to know about God and the truth of His Word is contained in it.

No, its definitely not a bad thing. I just don't like people who are between Atheist and semi-religious and walk around quoting from The Da Vinci Code. That REALLY annoys me.

Sounds like you come under the definition of an agnostic. You have certain beliefs, but are not religious, neither are you an atheist.

Yes it is... all those who do not come to God as He prescribes will be eternaly seperated from Him. there is debate over the exact punishment those seperated will receive... bu tit wont be good thats for sure.
God makes the rules, you and I do not, we play by God's rules or suffer the concequences.
