So far I've lost 87 pounds. I'm finding it hard to do because of this time of year. You know, with going to parties and having such good food sitting there and tempting you. How do you all handle it?

Drink a lot of water and eat something healthy before you go to fill you up... then when you get to the party control your portions on the not so good stuff. I am having a hard time too!! It sucks with all the food in front of you. Also get in conversations with the talkers and not the munchers!!!

It is hard, but hey, we all need to indulge. Just get little bites of the stuff you really love, and don't have a whole piece of pie ... just have a 1/3 or 1/2 piece. Try to eat something healthy before you get a hold on those treats. But don't beat yourself up; Christmas only comes once a year. Do some extra exercises so you don't feel guilty.

only indulge in what you REALLY like. don't mindlessly eat while at parties. instead, ingage in conversation, dance, or participate in other things NOT involving munching.
