I am 5 ft9 and I weigh about 160 is that to much for my height? I'm still trying to lose weight. I recentley had a baby and gained 70 pounds during my pregnancy but I already lost them all. so how much do i still need to lose to get my ideal weight?

It depends on what you like in the mirror. Generally for 5'9" it's around 135-160.

Congrats on your baby! :)

Hi! The best person to ask this question is your family doctor or public health nurse. They have charts to determine your height and weight.
Look in the mirror... dont go by what a scale says. Scales dont say," Wow! those jeans look great!" Scales tell you the weight of your entire body... this means everything. So if you have just drank juice, eaten, need to pee....all these factors are included in your scale measurment.
Plus, you had a baby! ( I had 4 babies! )
Your "ideal" weight should be based on how you feel about yourself. ( But not if you are anorexic or bulimic)
:o) see you doctor, ask to look at the height and weight chart for women of your age!

No, that weight is still perfectly acceptable, as you are pretty tall. You can lose weight if you like, but don't go overboard. HTH : )
