is this the holy book we are talking about as we can decide which one person likes they can read with differences in versions and one is saying 1800s are good. so in this case its completely customised book by christians and its no longer a holy book as we are translating or interpreting it the way we want ( king james, gensis etc etc) plus how can i decide which is not fake and which is actual translation or if it exist now...or do i have a choice of being a king james bible christian or genesis bible christian??

Your question is not clear. If you are asking about a version of the Bible to read there are many versions that are highly reliable with only small differences. Perhaps the best version for reading and accuracy is the New International Version (NIV). Others would be the New American Standard Version, The King James Version or New King James Version, The Revised Standard Version, the Modern Language Bible or New English Bible. There are other versions I am not familiar with. I would avoid Paraphrases like The Message Bible as they are less accurate.

Get the Greens Interlinear. Study the manuscripts directly; then whatever each Bible says, you'll know what was said for sure.
The closest Bible I've found to the manuscripts is the kIng james Bible - yes, of course it has some translation problems - anytime man touches anything it gets messed up somewhat - but with the King James you can also use a Strongs Exhaustive Concordance and you will be in real good shape. Just the fact that you CARE to get it right, makes all the difference - God will make sure you get the right information, because you are obviously someone he can use to fulfill his plan; a can-do type person. We need more like you - Merry Christmas!

The King James version, also known as the Authorized version, is one of the most accurate. Many modern translations are not as accurate as they might be, because they are not based on the correct manuscripts. Sovereign Grace Publishers provides an online copy of the Modern King James Version, which is both very accurate (based on the same original manuscripts as the original King James) and also a little easier to understand than the original King James version. They also have another version called the Literal Translation of the Holy Bible, which can also be accessed online, and is very accurate (based on the same manuscripts as the King James version). The links to these online copies are below.

The Authorized (King James) Version has been a favorite for English-language speaking persons for centuries. It was a translation into English nearly 500 years ago.
If you are not familiar with English of the early 1600's then you might find it easier to comprehend if you were to read the "New International Version".
If you find the English language "challenging" and yet it is your main language, then you might want one of the translations in "basic English" -- such as the "Good News" Bible. You will be able to understand much in it; enough to find Salvation and how to live a life pleasing to God. It would not be as good as a Study Bible.
Better that you read most any translation (except a translation made by ONE person or ONE denomination).

A lot of the Bibles of the 1800's are very accurate. More resources are available now than when the very inaccurate King James was written.
The Darby, the Young's Translation, the English Standard Version, the American Standard version, (not the NASV, the ASV), are very accurate. The New World Translation of the Jehovah's Witnesses is extremely accurate.
Any Bible that uses Westcott and Hort Greek works are very accurate.
The Clementine Bibles, like the Douay and KJV have a lot of mistranslations in them.

They all pretty much say the same thing. Some versions have direct translations and others use a different translation process that tries to use a language that is more in tune with it's intended purpose. Take the word "love", it can have many meanings in it's original language. It can mean unconditional love, friendship love, etc. But we just see the word love.
I have always read the NIV (New International Version) and it has served me well, cuz it is easy to understand and the one I have has all kinds of historical background as you read along. Another one that reads easy and has tons of useful information is the Life Applications Bible.
Most people will swear by the King James Version. I definately enjoy the KJV for it's accuracy, but if you're just starting out. I recommend one of the others mentioned above. If you want to stay along the same lines of the KJV (maybe your church reads from it), then there is the New KJV. I have read it and enjoyed it as well. There is a great New KJV out there compiled with tons of great information from Ray Comfort called the Evidence Bible. Great Bible.

No original text exists.... I would recomend The King James in a study bible format.... but most today do not want to study enough to properly use the King James... The only other translation I would recomend would be The New American Standard(updated), also in the study bible format.... here is a link to a page on my website about the bible. and it has a link to another page in continuation about other bibles. If you care to read at: http://mikevanauken.pages.web.com/outreach/id4.html

All you need is the Holy Bible. Any born of God Christian will tell you it is the inspired Word of God.
Holy Prophets moved by God revealed Gods message. The Bible has been tried, tested & fund true.
God confirms His Truth to me in my spirit.
Also there is almost a complete text of the Book of Isaiah found among the dead sea scrolls. It is very prophetic of Christ (Messiah). But there isn't much difference, if any, of the Book of Isaiah in our Holy Bible today.
