"Yes it is...sin is any act against the Word and Will of God... "
Where may I find this? I'm not skeptic, but, where could I read this? I'm not worshiping demons or spirits. Wow, this is a difficult subject.

Catholic Church teaches:
God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it.
All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future.
Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers.
They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.
With love in Christ.

Absolutely not this can be a gift of God. The power to discern spiritual things is a gift from God but weigh it carefully with the word and the holy spirit. Okay perhaps the word clairvoyant is what throws some. Spiritual would be a better word to show these things come from God. God is spirit and understanding many things are beyond the five senses all prophets were spiritual and most Christians are spiritual and we worship God in spirit and truth. God has bestowed gifts on his people and do not deny these things but as I said before they will be measured and should be in agreement with his word and his truth and the holy spirit.

Saul, in the OT tried desperately to ride Israel of same. The prophetic visions teetered between divine inspiration and sane political analysis. Toward the end of the OT the issue had become contentious enough that "clairvoyance/prophecy" had essentially been banned w/ a threat of significant corporeal punishment.
NT speaks of the Holy Spirit giving different gifts, including prophecy. This is to be a gift of encouragement, a professing. It is also used, however, to see into the future. You will find 2 examples of this in the book of Acts - one regarding a famine and one regarding Paul's fate.
The gift is easily misused and frequently exploited for personal gain and/or power.

Since you say you're a Christian I'll assume you take the Bible seriously and just as seriously your eternal destination. Smart choice.
According to Scriptures - which is the source of authority for Christians - although the word "clairvoyance" isn't used, nevertheless from the Old Testament through the New Testament various acts of clairvoyance, soothsaying, and divination are condemned.
For example you may recall that King Saul was told "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft" (1Samuel 15:23) Speaking of King Saul, it was his crime of convincing a woman capable of contacting the dead that cost him his kingdom and ultimately his life. (1 Samuel 28:7-25) The major prophet Ezekiel in 21:21 states about the King of Babylon: "For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver." In Acts 16:16-18 Paul met a woman "with a spirit of divination" who "brought her masters much gain by soothsaying" and it grieved him and he "turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour."
So clearly although the spirit of this world understandably says clairvoyance is okay and harmless don't be deceived because Scripture says it's forbidden.

But we must never forget that clairvoyance is simply an attribute of God, and it is only Him who can control it. So, whatever knowledge you want to get through clairvoyance will still depend on what God wants you to know at that particular moment.

you will be told by some it is due to the connections with witches ( even though it is no more than intuition and nothing to do with witches )
you may be told by others that since you are Christian it is ok and this is a gift from God ( even though as a non Christian i am to be damned to hell )
and i am being serious ...
i have asked similar questions on this topic and these are the answers i have recieved
my advice to you is ... do what your heart tells you , not what others think is right

Yes it is a sin. Only God knows the future! It is written that God DETEST it. It pulls us away from God by Satan.

Usually people who say they are clairvoyant are fakes, so they are lying. I believe lying is a sin, so yes...
