Stewardess prohibited from travelling with her bible
Quote

The Saudis hate Christianity, so the airline she works for has banned the bible.

NO absolutely not!
Well, I'm no Bible thumper, but this is exactly the kind of thing that separates humankind. The airline is clearly not willing to take on their Arab hosts, but instead is fearful of losing the ALMIGHTY dollar/pound profits that could result from their taking a principled stand. Hats off to the stewardess, whose right to carry personal items of ANY nature should be sacrosanct and respected. Surely there must be others who have experienced similar circumstances and I hope that they too come forward.

You just can't please everybody anyway. You're always going to find SOMEBODY who is offended. I knew a person who was complaining that a pilot on her flight came to speak to the passengers (which doesn't happen often). He even gave them his personal business card. Unfortunately, it backfired, because she then complained to the company that the pilot had his "Christian" symbol on his business card, and she felt he was "forcing" his beliefs on the passengers... Also, some airlines have been told to remove bibles that were donated to the airline because passengers found it offensive. With so many international passengers, and conflicting beliefs, airlines have to be careful. It's not just individual employees, but the passengers the airlines serve. There is usually going to be some kind of backlash somewhere, regardless of the stand an airline may take.

The Foreign Office website informs travellers to Saudi Arabia: "The importation and use of narcotics, alcohol, pork products and religious books, apart from the Koran, and artifacts are forbidden."

She knew the restrictions.

No no, slutty instructor. A slutty instructor who unearths herself in over her psychological head while she asks the undesirable new child who sits contained in the lower back extreme all day to stay after. all at as quickly as the jobs are reversed and she or he feels stupid in her ridiculous "ability in shape". Being in a single of those submissive place gets her all warm and stricken and in the previous you recognize it: "drill- drill- drill!"

No, I don't agree with the treatment this flight attendant received.

However, they can do what they did.
