My cat, Lucky, was being chased by a dog, but he ran under a car and the wheel squashed him. Now he won't look at me when I call him, even if I offer him his favourite tuna cat food. I know that cats have 9 lives, so I hope he'll soon wake up. My Mum says Luckies sleeping, and I should let him rest, but he must be cold on the compost heap where my Dad threw him. If he is dead, can anyone tell me when he'll wake up to start his next life? I hope he'll be OK, as I told Miss Carter I'm taking him in to bring your per to school day, after Christmas. I hope he'll be OK, he looks to be resting nice and peaceful.

1. This story is false.
You are a sick person, but a good story writer. Don't ever get a pet. Ever.
2. This story is true.
Your parents are cruel.
No creature has nine lives. I'm sorry to tell you.
I'm so sorry for you, my grandma's cat that I was really close to had a blood clot and was put to sleep several months ago. I didn't even get to say goodbye.
Make sure to give your cat a proper burial or cremate him dont let him rot on the compost heap.
You should get a cat from a rescue shelter though, they are still alive and i need. It is to late for Lucky.

As a resident of Cyprus I am very proud of the patriotism of the local cats, many of whom sacrifice themselves in the traffic so they can lie on the the road stretched out in the shape approximating to that of our sunny Island home.
May I suggest you find a decent sized map of Cyprus (about cat sized) and compare it to how your kitty is lying on the Compost heap. If he looks a bit Like Cyprus he is probably dead, but If you are still not sure, I am sure your local vet can help.
If he is dead, I commend a small book to you by Simon called Simon Bond called "101 things to do with a dead cat!". You can probably get it at Amazon.

my god .... and i never thought anyone would write a question as dum as this and as sickening. i mean come on ... if its a joke then your sick in the head and theres somthing seriously wrong with you and if not then seriously HOW OLD ARE YOU??? its just a saying that cats have 9 lives. everyone dies at some stage and you poor cat is dead and i suggest u take it to a semetery or something instead of just leaving it on top of a compost.

Well, I have cat and I know how atatched you can get to them. So, please don't take this hard. Well cats don't have nine lives everyone has only one including animals. There are no cat heaven or dog heaven your cat's spirit goes back where it came from God. Then it rests there. I'm sorry but I am telling the truth. I really hope you feel better.

Face it. Your cat is dead. It's not true that your cat has nine lives. Don't ever believe it's going to wake up. Do you and your parents love your cat. Why would your mum tell you he's sleeping. I would not throw my animal any where. I treat my pets as part of my family. Best advice is to bury him. PS-consider that dog is responsible for your cat's death.

I'm sorry to say that luky's dead but he's in a better place were he can play with other cats, eat alot of mice [gross], and run happily. He may be gone but he's still on earth in one place. In your heart. Besides, the nine lives is just a saying and a houx.

your mental. 1. cats don`t have 9 lives, they have 1.....2. Bury the dang thing don`t just let it sit on a compost pile.......3. don`t bring it to school, that`s just sick and wrong.....and 4. how old are you, have you looked into scieciatric help, and you have some sick jokes. It is unreal how sick some people are. If the person that wrote this was kidding round they are sick and if it is true the people that said the cat was alive are the sick ones. But what is really disturbing is some of the replies to it. People love their pets and treat them like family. I have a friend that just lost his beloved cat this week and is having a hard time dealing with it. I really think this whole section should be removed from the site.

sorry dude. your cat is gone. go to an animal shelter and pick out a new cat. Cat's don't really have 9 lives. If they do then he used his last one. may Lucky rest in peace. go ahead and give him a funeral.
