Okay, here is some advice for you but I make no guarantees. When people have a service animal there are no restrictions as to how many are permitted aboard the aircraft. The service animal is not counted as a "pet in the cabin" and are permitted to accompany the traveler for no fee. However, you will want to call the reservation center and make sure it is in your reservation prior to you going to the airport. So how are you going to pass your little dog off as a service animal? There is something called "thereapeutic animals" that are used to help calm people. People with mental or physical disorders (including phobias) use therapy animals and these fall into the same category as service animals for the airlines. However, if your dog is hyper then the flight crew won't buy it. I would only try this if your dog is calm and will sit on your lap with no problems. Because you will be claiming your dog is a therapeutic animal, you will want to keep him in your arms or on your lap as much as you can (the whole point of the therapy is that you are able to touch the animal and this allows you to calm down or address the situation as needed). Don't worry about them asking you too many questions - just use the words therapeutic animal and service animal and make sure your dog is calm.

No animal, I repeat, NO animal is allowed to fly on your lap on an US commercial air carrier. There is a limit to how many animals can be in the cabin as well as checked with the luggage. I am a former flight attendant of ten years, if you had brought a dog aboard my flight and there were too many dogs in the cabin...you would be off the plane (or your dog would). If the animal is allowed in the cabin or on the plane, its papers must be checked, you have to have it certified to fly (from the vet, health cert)...and the dog WILL NOT be allowed on your lap or out of the carrier AT ALL. I wouldn't advise sneaking anything on a plane. You're asking for trouble...for you and for your dog, and frankly, as a the keeper of that dog you should act more responsibly by him/her. Don't risk it.

not a good idea to try. with security the way it is now you don't have a good chance of doing that. And if it doesn't work your whole trip is delayed/cancelled. Call the airline and see if you can get on a waiting list - or bring him in as a carry-on on your lap or at your feet.

Don't even think of trying to sneak ANYTHING on a plane. You could very well end up in prison. No way you could keep a puppy hidden.

If your dog is little as you say then they should let it fly with you on your lap. You may want to call the airline directly and ask. We have flown several times and people have had there animals with them in the cabin on their laps. Good Luck

in case your canines is sufficiently small to in fantastic condition in a service which will in fantastic condition lower than the seat in the front of you, for one extra $seventy 5 or $one hundred, relying on the airline, you may carry your canines with you on the airplane. you want to e book your canines's flight at the same time you e book yours (until eventually you've already booked; then do it ASAP) because maximum airways restriction the range of canines which will nicely be interior the cabin on a flight, some allowing basically 2 on a flight.

Tell the airline the dog can fly the plane and try to have him seated in the cockpit.

I doubt you could get away with it, and I wouldn't attempt. You could get kicked off the plane.

NO CHANCE. Just try the airline again. Sometimes they will have other options.
