oRipa Screen Recorder can do the job for you. The software records your screen activity and the audio into video files. When you do the recording, set the frame size in the software the same as the your pc's screen.

Yes. There are programs, but they usually cost a lot of money. Something you might want to look in to would be a TV Tuner, which allows you to recieve telelvision on your computer and with one of these programs, you can record them on to your computer. Yes, Snagit works well. Also, Camtasia Studio works perfectly. You can download Camtasia Stuido at http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp Both of these programs are trials.
