Now, she has it back again & will only eat a little wet food. She's also shedding a lot. Do you think she has a little cold, or something more serious? (She also has conjunctivitis, for which she's being treated by an ointment from the vet) I guess we'll head back to vet agian tommorrow, but if anyone has any words of wisdom, I'd appreciate it. (No cat haters with wise a#s answers, please!)

Believe it or not, you CAN give an animal Kaopectate for diarrhea. I'm not saying that you shouldn't take her to the vet again - do that - but the Kao might make her more comfortable in the meantime. I had a dog once who someone had fed ground glass for no reason other than that he liked to bark. He was having explosive bloody poops for days. The med really helped him - probably saved his life in fact. You kitty may be getting into some type of poison, too. Do you have any rat poison around that she might be licking or eating? Or have you had your house sprayed for bugs recently? Stuff like that? You might want to keep her in a cat carrier for a day or two and keep plenty of water for her. Good luck.

If he's finished with the fever from the flu, and he nonetheless hasn't cleared up, you may desire to placed him on the BRAT nutrition plan. Bananas, Rice, Apples (peeled) and toast. verify he's taking various fluids so he does not get dehydrated. supply him bone broth. The gelatin shaped in organic bone broth will help bind his stools. Take a roasted poultry carcass, meat bumped off. placed it in a inventory pot with the bones (cracked to disclose the marrow, in case you are able to), pores and skin, giblets and connective tissues. upload a chopped onion, a pair of cloves of garlic, a bay leaf or 2, and a sprint curry pepper. upload some cayenne powder, too. basically a sprint. upload water if needed. Boil it for 8 to 12 hours. i comprehend this sounds like a protracted time, yet once you do it in one day in a crock pot on intense, it gets performed on an analogous time as you sleep. whilst that's finished, upload some salt - only adequate to make it palatable. Then, supply him a pair of tablespoons each and every hours. this could help together with his electrolytes (without all that added sugar), and the gelatin (which you would be waiting to work out whilst the broth cools, that's like jello) will help bind his stools. desire the little guy gets extra powerful quickly! Oh yeah - pedialite isn't reliable - it has sugar, which isn't reliable. Yoghurt is physically powerful, in case you employ Dannon - various the others have not got adequate of the plant life which will help placed him acceptable. you additionally can supply him a probiotic - I easily have used this effectively to try against the two abdomen flu and nutrition poisoning, with almost magnificent consequences. you will get this at a well being nutrition save. i do no longer comprehend in the event that they have something a toddler can take, because it regularly is supplied in a pill, however the workers on the save can in all probability assist you with that.

Could be diet. If you let your cat out, watch your cat to see what he eats.
