For the first time in my life, I actually have some degree of self-confidence. And don't it feel good. As for the relationship thing, since I don't want to be IN a relationship, it's helped me a good deal. I think a lot of the guys I know are afraid of me.

I'm very confident in who I am and there's nothing wrong with my self esteem. I've been in relationships where the other person couldn't handle how strong willed I am. I can't help that, I am who I am and I'm not changing nothing about myself.

I am very confident that I am shy. I miss out on alot of opportunities. But I'm working on it.
My husband on the other hand is a very confident person. (Cocky at times) I guess opposites do attract.

i am not confident about myself but i kidd on i am
except when in a realtionship i usually am confident with this one person or i would noot be seeing them
and yes it does help coz if your too shy around him it will onli be cute for soo long

I think that knowing who you are personally is necessary for developing good relationships.
You need to know what your morals/values/priorities are so that you can find someone with a similar worldview. You need to know what your goals and aspirations are so that you can find someone who is on a corresponding path. And you need to know what you are comfortable with, where to draw lines, what sort of thing you'll put up with, and what sort of thing is intolerable to you.
