It really is a seasonal thing... There is just not enough demand for it. Milk companies have to mix it special and dedicate processing equipment to do that. To make it year 'round would be a losing proposition. Some people would drink it...... but not enough to justify the cost in producing it.

There are several of us who would. I work for a local dairy company and they tried it during easter and dumped alot its a christmas drink that people just enjoy during the winter. I guess people are just set in there ways.

It's a good thing that it's only available around holiday time, because it's soooo bad for you. I saw a news clip yesterday and they were calling it a heart attack in a glass!! It's loaded with fat and calories.

It is available all year round, just the fresh one is only available in the winter, if you want to buy it any other season, its only available in the can.

if you check with your local dairy supplier, that is something that is available year round, you just have to ask for it and supply a constant need to make it worth thier while/cost of distribution.

unless u make it from scratch u cant find it all year round it comes into stores a little b4 thanxgiving
