Hey any one out there at the language training military base?
I am thinking of joining the military to learn Spanish and to be their translator. But I worry that if I don't pass the class they will send me to any job they want. My worry is I have zero Spanish background and they might make the language class hard (or maybe there will be native speakers there )so that people who signed up for it would fail out and be assigned to other duties.
Let me know.
Thanks!

First I would have to say, don't go for Spanish. how about Arabic or Farsi.. something that is worth some money when you get out and have a better retention value for the military. Also I'm not sure if they will give you Spanish... there are lots of people in the military who are fluent in Spanish and it isn't a priority language, actually I think it's at the bottom of the list.. LOL.. If you do fail out of language school you might as well get your combat boots out and get familiar with the infantry because that's where they're going to send you.. but if you think you have what it takes, go for it.. Good luck

I would say either stick it at DT or maybe try OLB. Though OLB depends on what kind of defense is run. Being an OLB does not really require much speed but just good tackling ability. But i would probably advise DT considering you played there before. Also, im sure you lift weights if u play high school (if not your team must blow lol jk) but yeah, make sure you drink Whey after each workout. Whey helps build muscles stronger and you can purchase it at any GNC or nutrition place. Also, once springs starts, all i do is eat healthy and stay away from fastfood, and that friedstuff

You are taught to read, write and speak the language like a native by teachers who are native in the language.
