I got the sims2 today and it is asking for a code on the back of the case. when i looked there wasn't a code! what do i do?

Take it back to the store where you bought it.
EDIT: But there is a chance that they don't take back opened packages. =/

I have the game, and the code is not on the case...if I remember it is either on the back of the instruction manual, or somewhere inside the CD case.
If those don't work, then take the game back to the store and tell them about the problem.

Check the back of the cd case or envelope slip the cd came in...also check the front and back pages of the instruction booklet.

look in these places: the back of your CD case, the back of your manual, the back of your manual's cover, the back of the cd's tray in your case, and finally the spine of your CD case. hope you find it.

there is a code there, if anything you probly downloaded it.
Call up the people you bought it from and tell them
