Some good answers already. The Ensure is a very healthy way to gain weight. Also, peanut butter. Try making your own milkshakes and adding a banana to it along with some chocolate syrup. Lots of Carbs like pasta, potatoes, rice, beans. Stay away from the junk like candy bars etc because even though, yes, they WILL put some weight on you, it's not healthy weight and if you get in the habit of eating that stuff every day, and the time comes that you don't want to gain anymore, you'll have a hard time learning to live without that stuff. I have a friend who is a cancer patient and seriously underweight. His doctor has him drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast several times a day. Because you're athletic, you can stand a MUCH higher calorie and carb intake than an inactive person. Don't take it to the extreme though, because I'd hate to see you back on here in six months being upset because you took our advice and have gained too MUCH weight, Don't put too much emphasis on you weight either way. It is so very easy for a person your age to develop an eating disorder and you do NOT want to go there. Good luck.

15??? You may want to hold off on the forced weight gain. You will most likely gain weight, rapid weight gain after you hit 18. If you want to n good weight, you can consume protein shakes and weight gain while participating in a weight training program. Muscle is healthier than fat, and is a whole lot easier to rid of. Running track burns a lot of energy, while you run you will burn fat, the likely component in the Gluteous Maximus that you seek. Go with protein and training.

If you need to gain weight medically, then you should probably see a nutritionist. I'm sure your track coach can help you get one. But in the mean-time, get some protien shakes and energy bars. Those can help. And make sure you are getting plenty of protien and carbs in your diet. Red meat is good as well as pasta.

Start to use protein shakes after working out, you can buy them at GNC. Theres lots of brands to chose from ask the salesperson for help. Protein shakes help you build more muscle but not in the body builder type.
