Okay, it will be painful. The first time I did it, I couldn't stand it, so I didn't get the full Brazillian. Breath deeply and try to breath out as they are "ripping" off the wax. The more often you do it, the less painful it is. The best thing to do is take ibuprofen(Advil) as it is a painkiller and an anti-inflamatory. If you are near your period-I'd reschedule because the nerves are heightened and the inflamatory response is greater right before your period. A good salon will have a cooling lotion to apply afterward to reduce the pain.
No, you can't be covered up. You will be very exposed and they will move your leg around to get the best access. Ask the salon about brining someone in with you-some places may be too small. Good luck!

i in my opinion in basic terms have been given this completed the day till now immediately for the 1st time. in case you have ever had your legs waxed, the discomfort somewhat isn't all that distinctive. in case you have in no way experienced waxing till now although, via the time you squint your eyes and say "ouch" the discomfort has enormously lots surpassed... different than for the very remarkable midsection (spoke of as "the hood"). while she pulled that strip i began out to sweat and had to take approximately 10 breaths till now the discomfort eased. Afterwards you're delicate as in case you have a sunburn. immediately for me is a little greater uncomfortable however. I even have pimple bumps comparable to a plucked fowl and it feels very delicate like an particularly undesirable solar burn. i'm informed although, with an antibacterial cream and loose clothing that the inflammation (and discomfort) will bypass away interior day after immediately or so. universal, i don't be apologetic approximately it and it has grew to become out to be greater useful than I envisioned and if all is going nicely, i'm going to make it a subject-loose ingredient. good luck!!

Honestly? I hurts very badly. But I am brave enough to go every 2 months because you begin to despise your hair after awhile. It is worth the pain believe me.
Anyway, the only way I get through it is by taking 2 Advil Liqui-Gels AND a Pepcid AC (this is key). Breathe deeply and just focus on a spot on the ceiling. You are very exposed but these women see privates everyday and they don't care.
Just remember the Advil and the Pepcid.

It hurts sooooo bad and you usually bleed and bruise the first time.
Kidding. It's not bad if you take two asprin 30 min before. It's painful, but relax, it's not THAT bad. You definitely don't need to hold a friend's hand. I carry on a conversation while I get it done.

I wouldn't take aspirin. Aspirin is a blood thinner and may actually make you more sensitive.
Honestly? I would take a Valium or a Xanex (tranquilizer). If you call your doctor I am sure s/he would be willing to prescribe you one pill for this procedure if you agree to have someone else drive you to and from the appt.
