Christmas is the time when the most people commit suicide. Christmas is the time when people worship a tree (Jeremiah chapter 10). Christmas is a time when parents cannot resist telling their children lies about a fat man dressed in red that brings toys in the dead of Winter. It is appropriate that the 25th of December is the birth day of Tammus, the first false Messiah, the stepson of Nimrod.
If I wanted my son to become an Atheist, I would tell him a lie about Santa. Then he could lose all trust in me and all father figures.

It is your choice to believe or not to believe, but believe me, no man has the brain to create such a vast universe, so I hope you don't believe that Darwin did it. If you can walk on this earth and believe that there is nothing more greater than man, you fool yourself. Man can't even stop war. Do you think that man thought of death, and how it became? Why can't we just live for ever right now? How about some human need to control this out of control weather. Do you actual think that a human being besides Jesus Christ, created dirt, flowers, animals? Or do you believe we all derived from monkeys?

Great question! I do not care if it's a commercial holiday - at least I have a clue how to celebrate.
Merry Christmas!

There is only a commercially motivated belief that Christmas is a time of joy. Christmas is for sure the season of suicides. Let's all dance around that!

Yep. Christ was conceived on Dec 25th, not born.
It is nice that families get together, i certainly agree with you on that, but just out of curiosity, if you were brought up athiest, have you considered checking out what the Scriptures say so that you don't miss out on something special? Like eternal life? Just a thought......

RAmen sister. I agree whole heartedly even though I came to atheism much later in life so have celebrated the holidays as religious observances as well.
