HE WAS BORED AND WANTED TO WATCH PORNO.
SO HE CREATED PLANETS THAT COULD SUPPORT LIFE.
HENCE EARTH WAS FORMED AND ADAM AND EVE FILLED HIS PLEASURE.

Well, what purpose do the stars serve? We really only know what the one star and planet are for: to support us. God works in mysterious ways my friend.

I agree with David because what he said is Scriptural. The Heavens were created to proclaim His glory! Only the Almighty God could have created these things! The Bible (ALL OF IT) was divinely inspired. So, God's Word is God's Word. And that is what is written. God was glorifying Himself to EVERYONE who lives, past, present and future. When I was young, my dad used to take me outside at night and show me the stars. He would say, "I can't believe that anyone can look up in the heavens and say 'There is no God.' I believed him then, and I believe him now. God's Divine fingerprint is on all of creation, including the heavens. Anyone who looks past that or turns their head to it is willfully blind. Hey Al--Where'd the clouds of gas come from??

Maybe God had enough time after making the visible stars and planets that He wanted to keep busy and show us how amazing He is!

ever see a diagram of an atom? The universe is just a body. Might be a pile of crap on the floor, might be a rock in the mountians. No way to tell from our limited scope.

He has his reasons. That I don't question. But it probable had something to do with the balance of Creation.
The Bible also tells us that one day the earth will sway back and forth like someone drunk and be removed. Have you notice how the earths rotation spin is slowing down?

In the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve were perfect, and would have lived forever if they had not sinned. So if humans lived forever it would make sense to think that we would eventually populate the whole of of the cosmos.

What, He can't be creative? Why limit Himself to one? I mean, with the infinite possibilities of creation, everything isn't created for humankind's benefit. He created because, well, I guess because He wanted to. Just like art.
