This is for my family of 6. Any suugestions?

Do you mean you messed up because of not cooking the food right, or you messed up because the menu wasn't balanced? I like most of your menu. It has nice balances of colors and flavors. If it was me, I would probably not do the spiced chicken. My first thought is that two poultry dishes can be redundant. I also feel like the spiced chicken might not have the best taste to compliment the other foods you mention.

Since you have 6 people, Cornish game hens make an elegant presentation. I like to make them with a little stuffing (I like wild rice and grapes). I glaze them with apricot jelly during the last 20 minutes or so of the baking. They make an very nice presentation on a large platter (silver platter, maybe?) with some grapes on the platter as well.

main course: steak marinated in peppers served with gravy
side dishes: baked marble potatoes, sauteed baby corn and mushroom, asian salad
dessert: leche flan
