I am 13 years old and we are going to california tomorrow from missouri. what should i bring to keep me busy? I need alot of ideas.

There will probably be a movie during the flight, so there's some time.
Bring a paperback book that you're interested in reading. If you have one, an MP3 player and headphones; the music on the plane is kind of boring. Bring games, some snacks (you can buy drinks inside the security gate).
Depending on the plane, if they have in-seat screens you might be able to play games on them.
And you can always sleep; bring some eyeshades.

If you aren't a frequent flyer it's fun just to enjoy the experience. i find it hard to concentrate. Make sure you drink plenty, it's very drying inside the plane and can cause you to have a headache and dry eyes and nose. have snacks and gum or hard candy, if they allow it?? you can look on NTSB website to see the latest rules for flying. Magazines are cheaper before you go than they are at the airport. Everything costs too much at the airport, so be prepared. Enjoy the trip and I hope the weather holds up so you aren't stuck in the airport, then you'll need a good book unless you like to people watch, which I do. It's fun and there are lots of different people to watch, from everywhere. Also, you may want to take a small pillow or something soft to lie your head on. Dress in layers, every plane and every airport and restaurant is a different temp. you'll then be more comfortable. That Chinky is sick. Don't listen to that junk.

ipod/mp3 player, digital camera (it's entertaining to take pictures, and this way you can erase them if they don't turn out), gum (helps with air pressure when plane takes off), water, something to read, maybe blankets and pillows in case you get tired.
And just to be safe, some sample size toiletries and a change of clothes in case flight gets delayed.

On my last trip i took a mp3 player, and a book to read. Id also take magazines, and if you have them Gameboys.

toe nail clippers, lol jk they will get confiscated.
bring a hand held gamming dvice or cards, or a laptop if you have one(you cant use internet on the plane but u can play games.)

Put some games, your cellphone, and other things that will entertain you during your flight in your handbag and all your clothes in the baggages!

you should bring something to listen to music, a journal, pearls (they bring you good luck), some snacks, and if you could a laptop.

hand help games,cell phone,sandwhiches,headphones (if you dont want the airline ones)and a mp3 ipod or cd player

personal travel blanket and a stuft animal (a great personal pillow!) . I never travel with out mine!
