No, of course not. Farting is a natural thing. The next to me on the Metro does it. My uncle does it. You do it. Even I do it! I think anyone who laughs and points at someone who farts is immature. I feel that there is no need to exuse a fart, unless of course you are in a very formal setting. Burps are different. You can easily adjust how loud a burp is, so if you burp really loud it you should say "excuse me", because that burp could have been quiet. With farts, you can't adjust how loud it will be. It's a random pick, just like the lottery. I never, ever get ANNOYED at someone for farting, since people can't help it.

I get annoyed when my kids fart and then call me or their brothers into the room for something. They only do this to make the other person smell it, and someone always ends up mad. People who fart are annoying, the farts themselves just stink.

no farting is a natural thing. If its one of those silent but deadly ones you point and laugh at the person who you think did it, cover your nose for a while and get on with it, its not really annoying.

Yes. Especially if it's a gasser. Of course when I fart on a crowded elevator, I usually look around, crinkle my nose up and try to make people think that I didn't do it.

OMG...that is one of my biggest pet peeves! if you have to break wind, at least go into one of the other rooms in the house....especially if i'm eating or cooking in the room you want to fart in. Oh, that makes me so mad!!!!
