If you have been together 2 mos and have nothing to talk about, there is something worng with your relationship. That is way too early to run out of stuff to chat about. If shyness is the issue, I guess I'd try talking about something that he is interested in--if he still doesn't respond, break it off, it's not going anywhere. You know you are in a good relationship when you never run out of things to talk or laugh about, but are also perfectly fine with silence.

If you are already asking him a lot of questions, then maybe that's the best you can do. If the two of you don't have anything to ever say, maybe it's time for a new boyfriend. One of the best things about being in a relationship is having someone to talk to.

Now you know what your parents feel like when they ask you questions.
"How was school?" "Fine."
"Did you learn anything interesting?" "No."
Ask open-ended questions that he can't answer with a single word. "What do you think of ______?"
That said, he may just not have much in common with you besides a mutual attraction. This happens a lot. I like that you see this as a problem now; it says that you want depth in your relationships.
Good luck.

Bear in mind that guys talk about one third the amount that girls do. He might just be a deep thinker. Give hime some space and let him be himself.
