No, sorry. Jesse Ventura is not his real name. He was born James George Janos (some records say "Janus", and the family name is Slovak (from present-day Slovak Republic, formerly Czechoslovakia ). He served in the US Navy Seals under that name, and changed his name when he became a professional wrestler.
