It has got something to do with the ear frequency .The human ear can respond to minute pressure variations in the air if they are in the audible frequency range, roughly 20 Hz - 20 kHz.But as we grow old our frequency decreases , so that is why elders have trouble hearing us and as a result it is harder for them to comprehend things easily. There is a a "mosquito sound" you can download it by googling it . When you download it and play it you will be able to hear that sound but when you make your dad listen to it he will hear nothing and probably think you are joking . Another reason why they can't understand things easily is because they get weaker and lazy and pretty slow . So it takes sometime for their brain to comprehend as the brain cells start to decrease .
I hope it helps.

Because often times old age causes people to be more confused at times and some more then others. Please be patient with them though as it is not their fault. Give them the respect and dignity they deserve even if it's frustrating at times to communicate with them. You'll be there someday, and want people to treat you with respect, etc. Older people can also have minds that are better then kids today have because older people used their minds and bodies more then kids today do. They can teach you a lot and can be very socialable too. Spend time with some older people- (volunteer at a nursing home, etc. they love visitors, especially young people).

you may be surprised biscuit if u read in most studies that aging dosenot much affect functions of the brain, even very old aged people can communicate & do lectual subjects !
but ur observation is totaly logic.aging can affect many organs that r vital in communication; hering & seening are the chief ones.
any ways donot be sad for that cuz nature is more wiser than any of us , itis their time to get some rest from our annoying environement.

They could be hard of hearing, or thinking that when they were growing up, women didn't do any of this, work, show off their body like they do now. Woman's job was to be at home and cook, feed her husband, or have his kid. Some of the more adventurous women did other things, but they believe that we listen to noise it's not like their music that you could waltz too, do the foxtrot, or dance nicely with each other. It's not like the dancing now, with everyone grinding, sex on a dance floor.

Well first it has to do with the decrease in the number of neurons in the brain. Neurons are used to send electrical signals to and from the brain with mental processing. As in young children they are easy to remember becasue the brain and building of neurons are multiplying rapidly but as you age nerons are lost leadin to a decrease in ablity to learn as quickly. Also blood flow to the brain is decreased. And also visual and aduitory changes decrease too which are very important to learning makes it harder to learn... not impossible but it takes alot more trying.

I put my money on a horse named biscuit once and she lost the race. The horse by no means was old I just lost my patience for the animal. My advise to you is don't make the same mistake twice. Show a little patience.
