his heart is beating fast because he really loves you and gets nervous around you because he doesn't want to do anything stupid in front of you and whenever he is with you he probably just gets butterflies in his stomach!!

Well it has that happened to me once, its because its something that doesn't happen normally or is new to them and they could be getting "excited" .
