It depends mainly on three factors:
1. You should have lost all of your baby teeth (what's the point of whitening teeth you're going to lose anyway?)
2. You have enough money (the average treatment costs $600 to $2000 depending on how severely your teeth are stained)
3. Bleaching using the light systems should be limited to age 18 and older due to the issue of pulpal damage.
They did some experimenting on children as low as 16 and found sensitivity was too significant so it is not suggested for children under the age of 18.

I'm not sure but if it's just for cosmetic reasons you could probably get your teeth whitened at your dentist as soon as your teens but you may pay an expensive price. But You can use the Crest White Stirps Premium. It's safe to use in your teens and works very well. I can tell you this from experience.

I think from a tooth perspective as long as you have your permanent teeth it's not going to harm them. I don't think there is an age limit but I would assume any child younger than his/her teen years probably shouldn't get their teeth whitened.

I think you can be any age but I don't recomend it for people under about 14. (and if you need your teeth whitened at 14 then you need to seriously think about your dental hygene habits...)

If you are old enough to have teeth that need to be whitened, you are old enough to have your teeth whitened.
