I belong to a message board where used things are recycled to other members for free. When people post items and write things like "All items must go together" when they're unlikely to appeal to the same person (who now has to get rid of the unwanted items), and "I need this gone NOW", or "Check your email often to see if you've been chosen", and that sort of thing, do you just delete the message or do you sometimes write back to them to let them know rude, angry, manipulative, etc. they came across in their email? If people want their stuff gone immediately, I think they should get in their car and take the items to a recycle repository in their neighborhood instead of trying to control the people who might want the items. Where do you folks at Answers stand on this?

Sounds like Freecycle...The thing is since the person is giving something away at no cost to someone else they feel like they have a right to demand when and where it gets picked up. It isn't always nice, but .... Not worth getting upset over.

I agree with you. Sometimes I write to moderators or fill out a "report abuse" form if I feel the poster is being rude or spamming me.

It seems like this type of action is its own punishment, because people will be less willing to pick up their items.
