True.
Groups of people who share certain characteristics (income level, language, race, religion, sexual preference, ethnicity) tend to live close to people like themselves. Sometimes crafty politicians try to draw legislative boundaries so as to divide these groups, thus splitting their votes. This process is called gerry-mandering, and it is a means of violating the spirit, but not the law, or the one-person, one-vote principle.
The U.S. Senate is composed of two Senators from each state and does not follow this principle.
The President are Vice-President are elected by the Electoral College, so those elections are unrelated to one-person, one vote.

Thats correct, and that is why we have redistricting and the census atleast every 10 years. The senate is there so each state can be equally represented. I think this was part of the great comprimise when the constitution was written by our founding fathers. The larger states wanted a house population based and the smaller wanted equal representation among each state.

That is true, as a description of what the Supreme Court commanded in cases such as Gray v. Sanders (all of the congressional districts within any given state) and Reynold v. Sims (districts for both chambers of the state legislature).

we have all heard about the one man one vote doctrine for years. In theory it is fact, however in application we all know the results are often less than honest.
