Piggy Pudding Dessert Cake

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups milk
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine butter or margarine, flour and chopped walnuts. Mix, then pat into bottom of 9x13 " pan.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Allow to cool.
Beat softened cream cheese with confectioners sugar until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust.
In a medium bowl, combine chocolate pudding mix with 3 cups milk. Mix well and spread over cream cheese mixture.
Spread remaining 1/2 container of whipped topping over pudding. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Piggy Pudding Recipe

16 link pork sausages
4 to 5 tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 (7 1/2-ounce) package yellow cornbread mix, batter prepared according to package directions
1 cup maple syrup, for serving
Fresh sage, for garnish

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Cook sausages in a skillet until done, piercing with a fork to let out fat. Drain and then arrange in a 9-inch square baking dish. Layer sliced apples on top. Pour corn bread batter over all and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until corn bread is done. Serve with warm maple syrup and garnish with sage.

I have never even heard of this. I have a feeling you are thinking of the Figgy Pudding mentioned in the We wish you a merry Christmas song.

i dont know about piggy pudding, ive heard of figgy pudding though

it's not piggy pudding....lol... it's FIGGY pudding. And no, I've never had it, as I don't care that much for FIGS.
