I get 2 slices of bread, put mayo on the insides, cheese in between(lots of it!), and butter on the outsides of both breads. Cook on hotplate until nice and crispy and brown. Comes out nice and toasty. So yummy! Having one as we speak!!:D

I know may sound a bit strange, but it's mighty good! Makes it a bit creamy, not overdone though, or else that would be nasty.

I put extra virgin olive oil on the outside slices of bread instead of butter. I find it really does taste better but cooks the same. No mayo for me. I tried putting ham or this or that inside with the cheese - no, I think just cheese is best. Cheddar cheese.

Uh. I don't put mayo on mine. I just stick to peices of bread in the toaster. Then butter one side of each bread. Lay 1 (butter face down) in a pan and while it's cooking I add cheese (and sometimes pepperoine) and stick the other bread (butter face up) on top. Wait till the cheese melt to keep the break from going everywhere when I flip. Then cut corner to corner and wa la! Grill Cheese! ^_^"

My brother makes them at his jobs, and the people loves them.

First you get two slices of fresh bread, and you put 3 slices of real American cheese, not that fake stuff that they make with oil and water. Make the sandwich, and put it aside, Get a large pan or skillet, and melt some margarine or butter on medium heat, once the butter is melted put the grilled cheese in, the bread will absorb the oil, but don't worry, it wont make the bread soggy. One its golden brown, take it out and put more butter in the pan, when its melted, put it back in to cook the other side, follow the same directions, and you'll have a nice'n tasty grilled cheese, and take my word for it, the bread will not be soggy, and it'll be the best grilled cheese you'll ever have.

I put some butter in a pan, place the bread in first, wait a minute then place the cheese(two pieces of American cheese)on the bread ,add the final slices (100% whole grain). Turn the sandwich's according to browning favor. You can place tomatoes on the slices also.

Fresh Italian bread cut on the bias 1" thick.
Butter the outsides and liberally apply some good creole
mustard on the inside. Then fill the inside with pepperjack cheese and ham off the bone - grill until golden brown on each side.Serve with a dill pickle, Lays potato chips and an ice cold

Toast one slice of bread on both sides under the grill. Put thinly sliced Red Leicester cheese over the toast when it is brown and grill again until the cheese melts. Add a few slices of jalapeno and eat. Spicy and not too unhealthy!

Butter on the outside of the bread. I spread Brie on the bread and then Gruyere cheese. It is wonderful and I feel gourmet.

My mom likes mayo, sour pickle slices and american cheese. It's not bad either

I use a good bakery bread, Cooper sharp cheese and a slice of red onion. Butter both sides of the bread and fry in a pan. MMmm. Mmmm. Now I have to make one of those.

I have a few grilled cheese 'recipes' that I love!

With all of these, grill bread on one side, turn over then:

Add thinly sliced tomato, black pepper and a little salt, top with good quality cheddar cheese (Cathedral City is nummy!) then grill until cheese is bubbling. Gorge!

Add cheese, grill until bubbling then serve with Branston Pickle - the sandwich pickle is best (yeah, I'm a Brit!)

Add cheese, grill until bubbling, then add poached mushrooms - nummy!

Top with ham, tomato (season with black pepper) and onion (in that order) then top with cheese and grill till bubbling.

I could go on and on! I too dip my grilled cheese in soup (only the plain one though). The soup of choice is usually vegetable or minestrone.

That's it, I think! :)
